A fuel solenoid valve, as the name suggests, uses electromagnetic force to regulate fuel flow. Typically located at the base of the carburetor, it connects the fuel tank to the carburetor. When the engine starts, the valve receives an electrical signal from the ignition system, energizing a coil that generates a magnetic field to open the valve. This allows fuel to enter the carburetor and power the engine. When the engine shuts off, the valve closes, preventing fuel from flowing backward after shutdown.
